The Festival provides a beautiful outdoor venue opportunity to learn, explore and be inspired! Palomacy needs volunteers! Palomacy will be bringing avian superheroes to win all the hearts & minds!
Community Superhero Saturday is Lakeshore’s Spring carnival for the entire community, featuring games, food, and fun activities! We will have carnival games, crafts, two bounce-houses, baby goats, music, face-painting, dancing, and more. Art Club will have a big art table and activity, Lakeshore’s very own Black and Beyond will be selling produce, and our Student Council will be giving out prizes to our Lakeshore students!
Come celebrate the heroes in our Lakeshore community: Our awesome teachers, staff, students and families! Come meet some of the superheroes in our San Francisco community.

What better way to celebrate pigeons than giving and getting treasures in Palomacy’s Summer 2024 Celebrate Pigeons! Online Auction?
In honor of Pigeon Appreciation Day, Palomacy is raising funds for our feathered friends.
Pigeon lovers can support Palomacy’s life-saving work by donating treasures to the online auction and/or bidding on item’s during the auction period, beginning June 1 and closing on June 13, Pigeon Appreciation Day.
NOW is the perfect time to donate a treasure or two to the auction using the ‘Donate Item‘ tab at www.Events.Auctria/PigeonAppreciation.
It is also a great time to register yourself as a bidder (using the ‘Register‘ tab) and to peruse the Auction Items (under ‘Auction Catalog‘). Bidding opens in just 2 WEEKS!

This adopt-a-thon and family-friendly street fair on Saturday, September 7, 2024, is Berkeley Humane’s largest adoption event of the year, and the Bay Area premier location for NBC’s nationwide Clear the Shelters event. This media-covered event brings together local rescues, pet vendors, adopters, and our Bay Area community, with the goal of finding homes for adoptable pets.

The Solano Stroll is back! An annual street fair held every September, a week after Labor Day, on the Solano Avenue shopping district of Albany and Berkeley, California stretching close to 2 miles long and bringing between 250,000 and 300,000 attendees in a single day, it has been called the oldest and largest street festival in the San Francisco Bay Area and the “world’s biggest block party”!
Solano Stroll through Berkeley & Albany
Over five hundred vendors, non-profit organizations, food booths and entertainers. Begins at 10 am with the opening of Solano Avenue businesses and Stroll booths and you can visit one of 50 entertainers, 50 food booths, 150 juried arts and crafters, state of the art mechanical rides, and 150 community non-profit and government organizations, not to mention the unique and popular professional services, restaurants, and shops already here on Solano Avenue. You will hear the best in local music, dance and other performances and absolutely stunning costumes from all over the globe! This is a family event featuring a special area set aside just for kids that offer giant slides, carnival games, clowns, jugglers, stilt walkers, face painters, magicians and more!

Join us at the Sonoma County VegFest, the North Bay’s wildly popular celebration of compassionate, healthy, and environmentally responsible living. They are returning with our full indoor/outdoor program this year featuring dozens of local and bay area vendors with delicious food, refreshing drinks, wellness and nutrition information, sustainable and eco products, lots of samples and so much more. We are bringing back our full speaker program, vegan cooking and food prep demonstrations and music all day. NEW THIS YEAR: The International Vegan Film Fest! Award-winning short films from around the world.

The Sonoma County VegFest was conceived by a small group of compassionate SoCo vegans that wanted to share with their beloved county how wonderful living free of animal products can be.
