  ASPCA Webinar: Bird Housing, Enrichment, and Care

  This free, 60-minute webinar will benefit any shelter, rescue or foster parent who cares for birds. This is the second session in a four-part avian care webinar series. In this session, avian expert Dr. Leslie Sinn will explain in depth how to provide a high quality of life for the birds in your shelter and foster homes. Topics will include:

  • Housing, including bird rooms, quarantine, cages, location, furnishings, and social housing
  • Environmental enrichment
  • Cleanliness and sanitation
  • Bird health, including grooming, signs of illness, emergency care, and first aid supplies.
